duareI'm alive, but I feel like I don't have a life at all.
I'm so tired, and I feel so smashed every night when I arrive to home. Maybe I only work for 4 hours, and maybe I only have 4 hours of lessons, but try to spend 12 hours a day in UAB, plus time spent just to get there... And it's not just the job and the classes, it's also the amount of assignments we have. So I usually work 9-9:30 to 13-13:30-14h, have lunch, spent from 15 to 17 doing assignments and then 17 to 21 classes................ Uuuhh... Hopefully I usually skip the practice classes on Friday so I can be at home by lunch time...
And that's the main reason I've been out of lj for so long, and the reason I don't feel like writing anymore, or the reason I've been so put out of fandom. It's not like I don't read fics... but it's been more like to read a book, I have lots of fics saved on my computer, so every week I choose one and I read it at meanwhile my computer in the office take his time to work the amount of command it has to do. And thanks God to Google and all its gadgets, so at least as everybody on the office seems to be addicted to Google Talk, Gmail, or Google-whatever I can socialize a bit.
So I have a request, people who spent all their work hours on a computer, please, what could I do to avoid brain death? Any interesting ideas that won't keep me from working too much?
Well I'll try to post at least once a week, I think LJ is kind of therapeutic so it'll be good for me.
Oh! Andaviss, I have some picture and videos from yesterday night costumes dinner, we were only three - neperiana was amazing as Lady Sith -but we had fun even if we didn't go out (come on! It was raining!! Could you imagine my wings all wet and cold? No way!! lol)

Date: 2008-02-04 07:30 pm (UTC)I have my mail opened all day at work: if I get an email I get a break and if I´m very very desesperate (which happened frecuently in the first couple of months) I go through my list of contacts, choose one and send an email to see how life is going. It´s just a couple of minutes and it helps. Apart from that, I´m also suscribed to a couple of interesting newsletter, like Eroski´s Consumer.es, or related to job search, so I can have a look at an interesting piece of news and get a break. In the last three months or so, my distraction is looking for another job and getting amazed at the requirements in some of the offers.
And, above all, stopping every couple of hours, minimum; getting away from the computer, move a bit, chat with people, breath fresh air, strech my muscles... I can´t stay more than an 90 minutes without at least getting up 5 minutes. I get antsy.
Then I´ve got 1 hour to come back home and socialise a bit with my housemate and that helps also.

different tea times, check (actually I have a kettle on my desk in the office with a full assortment of teas)

tea and snack time, check
And then I have LJ opened, the fic of the week (I always select a long fic to read meanwhile I waite for some process to be executed, old or new), googleDocs, googleCalendar, iGoogle, my Delicious links, and all the webs I need for my job...
And even with all this I get bored, well, I suppose it's not really boredom it's more that I'm exhausted I don't want to do nothing at all.
Anyway, tell me^^ , when are coming back to Spain? I hope you get all you stuff packed easily and the trips is alright.
