Wicked and Equus!!!
May. 6th, 2007 04:09 pmIt's been a long time since I posted here, and as always there's been a lot of things happening all around me, but this is not the place to complain about it, so I'm only going to talk about the nice stuff ( para lágrimas y despotriques vayan ustedes a
byebye_duare).
The most important thing about this past days, is that my friend
morgana_avallon (I'm going to call her just Morgana, ok?) came to visit me here in London this past weekend. I was so happy! And I needed it so much.
Morgana arrived last thursday 26th at midnight from Stanted. One of the good things about living in Stratford is that we have a direct bus (A9 National Express) from Stanted airport to Stratford Station that it only takes 45 minutes, maybe less at night. When I arrived Morgana was already there (the bus was really fast^^). That night we went to sleep early, we just packed the beverages from Siberia that she had bought me away, and went to bed, because it was late and the next day we wanted to do a lot of things.
Friday morning we waked up very early, I think it was about half past eight... We took showers, had breakfast, picked our bags/things up, and went out. We took the tube till Tottenham Court Road, and walked down by Charing Cross Road talking all the time and looking at the shops. We had a lot of fun^^ Then we decided that we were going to try to go to the theater that evening to watch Wicked, so we bought our tickets, each of them 19 pounds not so expensive as I had thought. Better, because we after spoke to
aviss and arrange to meet with her at 5pm, we went to Shaftesbury Avenue (where the Gielgud Theater is) the to buy our ticket for Equus for the next day ( Saturday) at 2:30 pm, and those tickets were really expensive, 49.50 pound each one.
After all this buying theater tickets, we were a bit hungry and I decided to take Morgana to the Snape's Pub (that's how the HP fandom of London calls the place, for me it's the Dungeon Pub, or maybe the Slytherin Pub^^)
The place is really nice, full of strange jars and bottles, it seems a real dungeon, and obviously Morgana loved the place.
Have a look^^:
That first picture is the entrance of the pub, the second is me on the door to the lady's toilets, the third is Morgana in her throne^^

We had luch there and drunk a jug of lust, lol:)) It was nice, but maybe a bit to much sweet for my taste, I liked more the pride one that I drank the time I went with
aviss

The dresses were so nice, I thing Morgana and me decided to wear Wicked costumes the next Saló del Manga, XDDD

The both of us at the end of the play.

![]() | Then we went to Victoria Station to meet with We talked a lot, have fun, and drank white wine^^ After that, Morgana and me were a bit late, and we had to run to the theater. We arrived just a minute before the play started. I just have one word for Wicked: beautiful. Really nice, and funny, and sad and so beautiful, and both Morgana and me cried at different times of the play. Gravity and I'm not that girl. |

The dresses were so nice, I thing Morgana and me decided to wear Wicked costumes the next Saló del Manga, XDDD

The next day, Saturday, we waked up early too, prepared some sandwiches to have lunch on some park and we weared nice clothes to go really pretty to the theater^^ (is not everyday that you see a play with famous actors), and left. First we went to the British Museum, because Morgana hadn't been there before and I thought that for a history freak like her (and me^^) that was unforgivable, lol;)) We had lunch on the Museum's gardens because it was sunny and warm outside and then went to the theater with time enough.
The play, Equus, was so great, it's a hard story, very complex, and all the actors were so good. We loved the horses performance, sooooo nice^^ Really impresive. And Daniel Radcliffe seems so young when you see him in real, you know what I mean, when you are not watching him in a movie on the cinema or Tv. But he IS really good, he does the character very well, and what you see in the promotional pictures is NOT photoshop. He really has these abs!!! XDDD
We really loved it, and if the play is on scene in July, I think we will go to watch it for a second time.
Morgana and me on the Gielgud Theater
After Equus, we came back to my home, to change clothes and relax for a bit, and then went to
aviss' house to the Mojito's Party^^
Have a look at the picture, we were a big group, a lot of Spanish people and two england, so the conversations were bilingual, quiet funny in my opinion^^

Like you see, we had a lot of fun, and a lot of drinks, mojitos in particular,
aviss' specialty^^ And soft drinks of Absenta and Vodka from Siberia.
The only bad thing of the night was to had to come back to Stratford, not really near from East Dulwich... But we were three (Ana, Morgana and me) and we were lucky with the night buses.
On Sunday we sleep till late, because we were quite tired, and then left to Liverpool Street Market whit Ana, and there we meet
aviss and her family (that were visiting too). And of course we went to Spitafiels Market that IS love, there are so many lovely things in there, I really like it^^ It's a pity that all the things are expensive...
At afternoon we came back to my flat and stayed there doing nothing at all. We were so full... because we went to have lunch to Strada, an italian restaurant, and the food there is really great, so we ate to much.
morgana_avallon and me spent the afternoon/evening relaxing and talking. It was nice, just what I needed at that moment, and she helped me a lot to decide what the fuck I'm going to do with my life the next course after summer.
The worst part it was to think that the next day she was going to came back to Barcelona, and I felt so sad. I dont know what I wanted...if to came back with her or made her stay here in London with me. Those were my thoughts monday morning when we went to Stratford Station so she could took her bus to Stanted.
It'b been a week since then, and even known just yesterday I had my weekly breakdown I'm fine (yes, it's a fucking regular thing, every week I have a moment of stress and I cry like lost child... I'm annoying with myself... but I suppose it's quite understandable, I miss my home, and my parents and friends, and my situation here in London is not so good as I would like it to be...)
Anyway, the good thing, the thing that maintains me up and make me go on, is to know that she, and a few more of my friends are coming in July. I'm so excited to have them all here^^ I just need to wait for two more months (and I hope that in that time I'd have a more regular and stable job than now) and we are all going to have a lot of fun living together, and with all the friky events that are going to happen in July here in London^^ it's going to be SO GREAT^^

Besos!!
